Jim Talbot - Electrical Systems Operations Manager

Jim is Founder and President of Associated Electric in 1975 with extensive construction and maintenance experience across the electrical spectrum from high voltage power distribution to sensitive automation/data systems. Clients include AT&T, British Petroleum, Shell Oil Co., IBM and Citgo Oil Co. He is responsible for coordination of the electrical construction and development of the technicians that will manage, operate and trouble shoot CHP facility.

Don Johnson - Mechanical Maintenance Systems Manager

Don is Founder and Vice-President of Phoenix Welding, Inc. with extensive mechanical construction and facility maintenance experience as a certified ASME Code facility for repair of high pressure boiler systems along with ASME Section 9 qualifications for fabrication of high pressure piping systems. Clients include ExxonMobil, Sprague Energy, Buckeye Pipeline Co., Irving Oil Co., International Paper and SAPPI. He is responsible for coordination of the mechanical construction and development of the maintenance employees.

David Martin, P.E. - Facilities Manager

David is a civil engineer with 29 years of design/construction experience with the ExxonMobil Corporation. He is a registered professional engineer and American Petroleum Institute certified inspector for storage facilities. The management of the overall
construction budget is under his direction. David coordinates all facets of needed permitting, design and construction, along with integration of phase two and three deployment.

Jim Damicis - Business Development Manager

Jim is Founder and president of PolicyOne Research. Jim’s clients include state, regional and local governments, and companies focused on economic development. Jim has more than 20 years experience in public policy research, analysis; and is a former policy director to the Maine Science and Technology Foundation. He manages business development for MREC.


Michael Bilodeau - Scientific and Technology Advisor

Mike is the former manager at the SAPPI Fine Paper Research and Development Center in Westbrook, Maine. He is Director of the Pulp & Paper Process Development Center at the University of Maine, Orono Campus and will act in an advisory capacity for Phase 2 development.
